Harriott Home Health Services is a leader in public health, in part because of the volume of public health data we collect and interpret. Many of our nurses live in and are deeply embedded in the communities they serve. This, in addition to being in patient’s homes and getting to know them and their families, allows our nurses to gather invaluable data that serves as a barometer for emerging public health issues. This data acts as an early warning system, enabling us to be proactive in addressing health crises before they escalate.

We work closely with municipal and state leaders, along with the Connecticut Department of Health to share our findings and work collaboratively to find solutions to public health issues. In addition, we work with researchers and analysts to monitor trends and data to help us better understand our patients and the communities we serve.
